What is the course about?

research. You will be assigned a supervisor who you will see once every three weeks. These tutorials provide an opportunity to present research findings and discuss future progress. The final piece of work is usually a written work of around 5,000 words, but it might also be a creative piece such as a film, a series of paintings or a collage. You will present your findings to some members of staff at the end of the project. This course is particularly useful for students looking to stretch themselves by producing a written project which develops both a strong capacity for independent learning and advanced research and writing skills.
